RESUMEN LIBRE DEL CURRÍCULUM
Profesor titular de la universidad de Granada, destaco en primer lugar la experiencia investigadora que se materializa en una labor actualmente en curso y que da su fruto mediante: la asistencia a numerosos congresos nacionales e internacionales, así como los artículos presentados en revistas científicas con proceso anónimo de revisión que aparecen en el curriculum, destacando el hecho de que la mayoría de los artículos (55) están recogidas por el science citacion index (jcr), la participación en proyectos de investigación, tanto públicos como privados en relación con la investigación, quiero destacar mi estancia investigadora en la universidad de crandfield (reino unido). Por otra parte incidir en mi capacidad investigadora y la transferencia de conocimiento hacia la sociedad que quedan plasmada con la concesión de 2 premios de investigación uno de la fundación EMASAGRA y otro de la fundación caja rural. La relación sociedad-universidad queda patente también en los numerosos contratos de investigación realizados a través de la OTRI (oficina de transferencia de resultados de investigación) alcanzando gran éxito en cada uno de ellos y la difusión en entes nacionales e internacionales de las investigaciones realizadas. Además quiero destacar en este apartado la gran versatilidad de conocimiento que puedo tener debido a estar en posesión de dos titulaciones universitarias como son ingeniería química e ingeniería técnica industrial, y haber alcanzando el grado de doctor con la mención de doctorado europeo. Todo ello se complementa con un desarrollo profesional mediante prácticas en empresas de ingeniería relacionadas directamente con los conocimientos impartidos en el área de tecnología del medio ambiente, además con numerosos proyectos de ingeniería que han sido desarrollados a lo largo de mi vida profesional y que están íntimamente unidos a la docencia impartida en tratamiento de aguas.

ABSTRACT
Dr. J. Manuel Poyatos Capilla studied Chemical Engineering (finished in 2002) in the University of Granada, and obtained his PhD degree in the same institution in 2007. He is full professor since 2011 in the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Granada, being an active member of the Research Group of Environmental Microbiology (RNM 270). Professor Poyatos-Capilla has made numerous scientific contributions in national and international conferences and meetings, and published more than 50 scientific articles in high impact journals (JCR). He has collaborated with projects both, of public and private funding sources. During research he has carried out Research stay in foreign institutions, within them, in Cranfield University. He is committed with the knowledge transference to society, which has resulted in both awards (Emasagra and Caja Rural foundations), and in awarding several OTRI (office for transfer of research results) contracts. Prof. Poyatos-Capilla possess a wide knowledge range as he obtained, in addition to Chemical Engineering degree, the tittle of Industrial Engineering (2006) that also allowed him to apply effectively the knowledge in the Environmental field
